Welcome to Mountain Park Galloway Cattle Stud

Mountain Park Galloway Stud is located in the beautiful Sunshine Coast Hinterland at Mothar Mountain, Gympie.

We have transformed our 110 acre orchard into a  cattle farm for our herd of Belted Commercial and Stud Miniature White Galloways.

Introducing The Galloway

The Galloway is a very old Scottish breed. The Belted Galloway can be found all over the world, even here with us on the Sunshine Coast.

They are long living and easy to manage and breed well with other breeds. They have a unique double coat of hair and are naturally polled. Belted Galloways have a very distinctive white belt which makes them unique.

In Australia, the Galloway has proven itself not only in cold climates but also in the hot inland, where Galloway cross cows have thrived whilst rearing a healthy calf.
